Setting up your iPhone for App Ninjas Swipe application using MerchantWARE

1)  Open the Swipe application that was downloaded in your iPhone/iTouch. On the first screen, you will need to touch on the top right button “Settings”.

2)  Then touch “Gateway”.

3)  Touch the Gateway dropdown and choose “MerchantWARE” and touch “Done”.

4)  This will bring you to screen asking for a username, site ID and a key. Touch the “Guided Setup” button. You will be given instructions to go to https://appninjas.com/webfill and you will be given a Device ID.  ** The Device ID is different with every phone and is case sensitive.

5)  After touching “Next” it will ask you to fill out the web form. Leave your iPhone/iTouch at this screen and proceed to a separate computer to the site you were given.

6)  On a separate computer go to https://appninjas.com/webfill.  The first screen will ask you to fill in the Device ID that was listed on your screen. And click “Next”.

7)  Now use the email that Merchant Warehouse sent you to copy/paste the Username, Site ID, and the Key.
** It is very important that you copy/paste these exactly; they are case sensitive, any extra space or letter will cause the application not to work.

8)  After you click “Save” you will then go to your iPhone/iTouch and touch “Finished”.

9)  Touch “OK”, and you are finished! All you have to do now is touch back to go to the main screen and begin processing.

***Please remember that because you are linked with MerchantWARE you are REQUIRED to enter the street number, the zip code and the invoice number. You will find the additional fields in the “MORE” section on the processing screen.
