There's a big difference between PayPal Website Payments Pro and Website Payments Standard. With both, you can accept credit card payments on your web site. However, only Pro allows you to accept payments without redirecting users to paypal's site. Since Swipe is essentially a virtual terminal solution, it cannot redirect users to paypal.com. In more exact terms, PayPal's Website Payments Pro product acts like a true merchant account, whereas their Standard product does not.
